Those seeking anything along the lines of plot, structure, meaning, or even sense would probably do well to stop reading this review and look elsewhere because Adjunct will not likely provide you with any of these things. The anecdotes and half-phrases that pelt the reader throughout the book are at turns hilarious, disgusting, and bizarre. Turns out the whole thing is significantly more random than that. I don’t think it’s considered a spoiler when I mention that some of the recurring topics include fractals, cacti, badgers, a I found this book oddly satisfying.
