Luc is filled with thought of revenge. I mean capptive the story of Luc and Melina was great. Refresh and try again. I was a little surprised by the instalove in this story. Whenever I thought I knew where the story was going, Leigh surprised me a bit. Her mother once told her that the legendary Irish torque would lead Angel to the one man worthy of possessing her heart. This book was sad and yet great.

Well written captve lots of hot hot hot moments. Both of the stories in this book are complete, no cliff-hangers. Is that a spoiler? It was totally unexpected and leihh worked with the story.
They only have to be in the same room together for the sparks to start but just one kiss in the garden seals the deal but when papa Manning does a little twisting and ends up selling the torque meant for Angel to Jack that is what sets everything in motion.
I love Lora Leigh’s style of writing and can’t wait to read the next one.

I read this book as part of a 2 in one book Rugged Texas Cowboy and since I can’t find that to review I’m leaving it here. Cowhoy 20, Bonnie Henry rated it it was amazing.
Have owned these books for years and have previously reviewed but they are missin Thoroughly enjoyed this story about Jack, the partner who we met in Cowboy and the Captive. Cowboy and the Thief is light and sexy. THe story here was just eh for me. Reading about these two characters was very entertaining and I have no doubt that if this coqboy a full novel, I’d enjoy it just the same. She dreams in bright, vivid images of the characters intent on taking over her writing life, and fights a constant battle to put them on the hard drive of her computer before they can disappear as fast as they appeared.
This kept me interested as the characters continued tangling up my heartstrings.
